Serbian National Movement „NASI“ was founded by members of „Nasi“ and members of the Serbian National Movement 1389 in order to effectively fight for the goals that both organizations have set themselves. Association „Nasi“ was founded on 15.01.2006 and is registered at the federal level in the then existing state union of Serbia and Montenegro. The work of the organization in a short time included a large number of people, and in the media NASI become recognized as an opposition to the current regime, and opposition to opposing political parties that advocate effectively for the same goals as the party in power.
Due to the uncompromising stance against Serbia joining the EU and NATO, and for the cooperation with Russia, NASI become an eyesore to many pro-Western politicians and parties, and the pressure and repression towards activist of the movement over time became more frequent. In August 2010, NASI entered into a cooperation agreement with the SNP 1389, and after nearly a year of cooperation, at the insistence of members of local councils in Serbia became independent again as NASI. Then the Serbian National Movement „Nasi“ was approached by a part of the Committee of the SNP 1389.
The objectives of the movement remain absolutely the same as in previous work, with hundreds of members and dozens of newly formed boards, NASI are the largest patriotic movement that brings together every day more and more people, and the goal of the movement is entering in the elections at all levels, via institutions through program movements and to become the official policy of the Republic of Serbia.
